We Made It!

We rolled into Kathmandu at 5:15 p.m. January 14, 2008.

3825 kilometers (2377 miles) in 14 days which put us 14th out of 64 teams. It was a fantastic journey and we would happily do it again.

Aw, you guys look so cute ;-). A bit worse for wear perhaps, but happy and satisfied. And you made the top quarter of finishers - excellent run!

Hope you can now see a bit of Kathmandu and the rest of Nepal.

Safe journey home,

Lisa

Wish I could have been there to suffer the after celebration hangover with you.

This is an amazing undertaking. I was in an automated rickshaw fron the Delhi airport into downtown, about 20 Km at most and that was both fascinating and harrowing. It's hard to imagine going from Delhi to Kathmandu!
