We're driving a motorized rickshaw (think golf cart) from Southern India to Kathmandu.

Dear Jack,
I traveled to Kathmandu twice.-Once in the 80's and again in the 90's. Glad that you could carry on the family travel tradition in the 00's. Please write a travel journal for all to read.

Funny, I just clicked on this blog entry to make the same entreaty ;-). I've never been to Nepal or Kathmandu, but it's always been one of my top travel fantasies (along with India, happily enough) . . . . I hope you guys take TONS of photos you can post.
I am enjoying this entire travel diary immensely, and like somebody else already commented, feel like I can really "see" what's going on between the written entries and the pictures.
